PROJECT LAUNCH PAD

WHO WE SERVE
Every person who walks through our doors has a story. Here's who we're here for :
-
Veterans & Seniors Those who have given so much deserve a safe, stable place to call home. We honor their service and their lives.
-
Domestic Violence Survivors Starting over takes courage. We provide a safe, judgment-free environment where healing can begin.
-
Individuals in Reentry Coming home from incarceration shouldn't mean having nowhere to go. We believe in second chances — no exceptions.
-
Those Without a Steady Home Whether it's a sudden crisis or a long road, everyone deserves stability. We meet you where you are.
-
Individuals with Mental Health Challenges A stable home is the foundation for everything else. We provide structure, support, and dignity.

At Project Launch , we provide safe, supportive housing and resources to individuals in need empowering them
to build stability and create a brighter future. Our goal is to offer a welcoming environment where every resident feels valued and supported on their journey toward independence.
Bria's Story
My name is Bria Blackwell, and I am the founder of Project Launchpad. This is why I built it.
Project Launchpad was born out of love — and a phone call that changed everything.
When my best friend Erica was sentenced to 20 years, we talked honestly about what life would look like on the other side. One of her biggest fears wasn't just being away — it was coming home. Where would she go? Who would take her in? How would she start over?
That question wouldn't leave me alone. I started researching, and what I found stopped me in my tracks. It wasn't just people in reentry who struggled to find safe, stable housing. It was veterans. Seniors. Survivors of domestic violence. People battling mental health challenges. So many people who just needed somewhere steady to land.
So I built that place — funded entirely from my own savings, with no grants and no outside support. Just a belief that it was the right thing to do.
One year later, watching residents get back on their feet and move forward into their own lives doesn't just make me proud. It makes me feel whole. It makes me feel like what we do matters. Like I am genuinely changing society and helping bring forth a better world. Many of our residents don't feel like clients to me — they feel like family.
The Full Circle
Housing gives people a foundation — but a job gives them a future.
In Charlotte, there are thousands of people who need stable housing but have no income to qualify for it. I realized that if I could solve the income problem, getting people housed would become the easy part. That's the simple idea behind Project Launchpad Workforce Enterprises.
Our trucking company isn't just a business — it's the next step in the journey. When our residents are ready to work, we're ready to hire. From housed to employed. From surviving to thriving. From a second chance to a real life.
That's the full circle. And it all started with one woman, her savings, and a refusal to look the other way.
